Angelina Fitoz to speak at the Forum on Information Security

On 12 April 2018, Moscow will host the VII Forum “Current Issues of information Security,” organized by the Association for Information Security. Managing Partner at Lawitt Hamilton, Angelina Fitoz, will deliver a report at the event entitled: “Combatting Cybersquatting.”
In the session devoted to ensuring the security of critical information infrastructure, Angelina will discuss the legal aspects of combatting cybersquatting using the case study of a project during which she defended the interests of a company at the International Arbitration Court of the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers – ICANN (USA) in cases involving the expropriation of domain names from unlawful possession.
On the Forum’s agenda: various initiatives targeting the field’s legal regulation, mechanisms for productive interaction between the public and private sectors, issues of security and confidentiality in cloud environments, and education/workforce issues in the area of information security. Speakers will include representatives from industry regulators and the relevant departments – the RF Security Council, FSTEC of Russia, the RF Federal Security Service and the Central Bank of Russia.
